Hike/Field Trip
 East side of Sandias near Doc Long's

  • Departed Doc Long's Parking Lot at 08:15.
  • Returned to vehicles by 15:00.
  • Walked from Doc Long's along Tejano Canyon to Faulty Trail to Oso Corredor Trail toward Tree Spring.
  • Round trip about 5 miles.
  • Most travel was on trail, with some bushwhacking.
  • Stream in Tejano Canyon still had a good flow, but was noticably down from the previous weekend.
  • Ascomycetes still fruiting on moist trail edges and hillsides. Habitats include P.pine duff, spruce duff, oak litter, Oregon grape, isolated and in combination.
